Special Needs
This is a resource for helping parents of children with disabilities. The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The TAA home page gives a concise overview of what the program is all about, where funding comes from, how the project is administered, and what they offer.
Special Reads offers resources for teaching special needs children to read using books specially geared toward their ages and interests. The site also offers mind-developing music, flash cards and resources for siblings of special needs children.
Woodbine House is a supplier of books and other media dealing with a wide variety of disabilities and diseases. They state that they truly want to make this information available to the public and price their book as low as they are able.
This is a discussion forum (or message board) for homeschooling parents. It is hosted by VegSource.com and is well attended by homeschooling parents. Note: There are many other homeschool related discussion forums at VegSource.com and other websites as well.
